I spent 28 years as a mental health professional in leadership positions. I was able to unlock the potential of teams and the clients we served. Over the past three years I have served as an internal coach with a company in Lees Summit Missouri and in Buffalo New York. In both companies I have helped teams perform at a higher level to help people unlock promotions and accelerate performance up to 40% over the prior months. I have showed teams how to create emotional security to increase job satisfaction. As part of my role, I currently serve as a Scrum Master on a Data + Analytics Team. I have been told that I have set the bar on what a great Scrum Master looks like. This complement is connected to how I view peoples capacity to change and perform. As a Business and Life Coach I am always looking for ways to grow professionally so that I have more tools to help people reach their dreams. March 2023 after having already introduced the "6 Types of Working Genius" model to two teams I became a Certified Working Genius Facilitator through the Table Group."

The Working Genius assessment is 20% personality and 80% productivity. People who understand their genius show up to work happier, are more effective, and play well with others. Working Genius Certified Facilitators are equipped to analyze and apply results to help individuals and teams leverage Working Genius to be more innovative, strategic, and effective.

 

Working with a Certified Facilitator can transform work for people by helping them:

• Understand why they have been successful or unsuccessful in past endeavors

•  Clarify which types of work give joy and energy and which types are draining and difficult

• Avoid making unfair and inaccurate judgments about one another’s motivation

• Alleviate guilt about struggles people have with certain types of work

• Make quick and concrete adjustments to roles and responsibilities to better tap into one another’s strengths, and avoid one another’s weaknesses

Helping people experience life change is a part of my DNA. My introduction to professional coaching changed the trajectory of my professional career. As an ACC, ICF [International Coaching Federation] Certified Coach I have put in the training 60+ hours and coaching practice 100+ hours to gain certification to craft my skill set.

As a coach, I help clients achieve clarity and direction; looking at their life through a different lens, where they are able to choose a way forward. Many clients state they feel for the first time that someone is really listening and challenging their thinking to help them create and manage change.

My clients come from a variety of professional backgrounds and leadership positions from small to mid-size businesses to local churches of various denominations With each of my clients I help them to look at where they are, where they want to go, and develop plans to eliminate barriers to their success. Perhaps you feel stuck emotionally or in your career. You feel uncertain of what you want and have a loss of energy. Having a coach will help you discover renewed focus, energy, clarity, and direction.

Is your personal faith a component of the coaching process. Know that I have the capacity to lean into your faith to help you grow personally. My background in my faith serves as a lever I can pull to help you on your journey.  I have served as a missionary, Associate and Student Ministries Pastor; primarily in rural settings. I approach life change from a diverse background having acted as a consultant, counselor, mentor, pastor and coach.
